**Description:** A slender, long-tailed bird with a solid black bill and a narrow red ring around the eye.

Found in deciduous forests and thickets. They are much more secretive than most forest birds.

Specialist predators of hairy caterpillars, such as the invasive Gypsy Moth.
3. Identification
Look for the plain brown back and the small white spots on the underside of the tail.
