Species Description

**Description:** A small, bright yellow warbler with blue-gray wings and a sharp black line running through the eye.
**Size & Weight:** 4.5–4.8 inches long. Weighs roughly 0.3 oz.
**Sexual Dimorphism:** Males have a more brilliant yellow crown and breast than females.
**Behavior:** Known to hybridize with Golden-winged Warblers, creating unique hybrids known as "Brewster’s" or "Lawrence’s" warblers.
**Habitat:** Managed shrublands, forest edges, and regenerating clearcuts.
