**Description:** A primitive "living fossil" with a long, cylindrical body and a large, rounded tail fin with a black eyespot.
**Size & Weight:** 15–25 inches. Weighs 2–8 lbs.
**Behavior:** Can breathe air using a lung-like swim bladder, allowing it to survive in stagnant water.
**Habitat:** Slower, weedy sections of the river and reservoir.
