Species Description
**Description:** A small, high-energy warbler with a blue-gray back, white belly, and a brilliant yellow "necklace" of black streaks.
**Size & Weight:** 4.7–5.9 inches long. Weighs roughly 0.3–0.4 oz.
**Sexual Dimorphism:** Males have a bold, dark necklace; females have a much paler or faint yellow necklace.
**Behavior:** Extremely active foragers that stay in the forest understory. Known for a quick, "chip" alarm call.
**Habitat:** Moist deciduous forests with dense shrub layers and cool, mossy ravines.
