Chestnut-sided Warbler

Species Description
**Description:** A handsome, energetic warbler with a yellow crown, white underparts, and distinct chestnut-colored stripes along its sides.
**Size & Weight:** 4.7–5.5 inches long. Weighs roughly 0.3 oz.
**Sexual Dimorphism:** Males have much bolder chestnut flanking and a brighter yellow cap than females.
**Behavior:** Known for the mnemonic song: "pleased-pleased-pleased-to-MEET-cha." Unlike many warblers, they prefer low-level shrubs.
**Habitat:** Second-growth forests, shrubby edges, and areas recovering from timber harvests.
