Species Description

**Description:** Large sparrow of the forest floor; males are tri-colored black, white, and rufous.
**Habitat:** Shrubby undergrowth, edge habitats, and thick mountain laurel thickets.
**Behavior:** Famous for its "Drink-Your-Tea!" song and a "double-scratch" foraging move that creates loud noise in the leaf litter.
