**Behavior:** Unlike the rapid flight of dragonflies, these flutter slowly and gracefully, looking more like dark butterflies.
**Identification:** Unmistakable due to all-black wings. The metallic body shimmer is most vivid when catching beams of sunlight in forest shadows.
