**Description:** A small, olive-brown flycatcher with two bold white wing bars and a distinct, sharp "che-BEK" call.
**Size & Weight:** 4.7–5.9 inches long. Weighs 0.3–0.5 oz.
**Sexual Dimorphism:** Monomorphic; sexes are identical.
**Behavior:** The most common flycatcher of the deep forest interior. They are highly territorial and constantly call from the mid-canopy.
**Habitat:** Mature deciduous forests with an open understory.
