Species Description

**Description:** A yellowish-gray invertebrate with 15 pairs of long, delicate legs and three dark stripes running down its back.
**Size:** Body length of 1 to 1.5 inches; legs make it appear much larger.
**Behavior:** "Pest control heroes" that run at incredible speeds (1.3 feet per second) to hunt spiders and termites using paralyzing venom.
**Habitat:** Common in old buildings and the forest floor under rocks and logs; generally avoids light.
**Identification:** Despite their appearance, they are harmless to humans.
