Species Description
**Description:** A tall, succulent plant with orange, trumpet-shaped flowers covered in reddish-brown spots. Also known as "Touch-me-not."
**Size:** Reaches heights of 2 to 5 feet.
**Identification:** Ripe seed pods explode when touched, launching seeds several feet. Leaves have a silvery sheen when held underwater.
**Wildlife Value:** Hummingbirds are the primary pollinators. The juice from crushed stems is a natural remedy for Poison Ivy rashes.
**Habitat:** Moist, shaded meadows and along forest trails near Stinging Nettle.
