**Description:** A stunning moth with white wings covered in hollow black "leopard spots" and an iridescent blue-and-orange abdomen.
**Size:** Wingspan of 2 to 3.5 inches.
**Sexual Dimorphism:** Males and females are similar, but males have more extensive blue markings on the abdomen.
**Life Cycle:** Caterpillars are giant, all-black, fuzzy woolly bears with red bands between segments. Adults are strictly nocturnal.
**Habitat:** Deciduous woodlands and forest edges; frequently attracted to campground lights.
