**Description:** A large, ground-walking warbler of fast-moving forest streams; features a bright white eyebrow and a heavy, unstreaked throat.
**Size & Weight:** 5.5–6.3 inches long. Weighs 0.7–0.8 oz.
**Behavior:** Constantly pumps its tail and body up and down while walking. Their loud, ringing song is designed to be heard over the roar of waterfalls.
**Habits:** An indicator of high-quality shaded brooks; they are among the earliest warblers to arrive in spring (late March).
**Habitat:** High-quality hemlock ravines and shaded mountain brooks.
