Species Description

**Description:** A handsome warbler with a yellow breast featuring heavy black "necklace" streaks and large white tail patches.
**Size & Weight:** 4.3–5.1 inches long. Weighs roughly 0.3 oz.
**Behavior:** Frequently fans its tail to show off large white spots, which may startle insects into flight for capture.
**Identification:** Look for the "bumblebee" pattern: a bright yellow rump and gray crown.
**Habitat:** Despite the name, they specialize in young, dense Eastern Hemlock and Spruce stands.
