Species Description
**Description:** A bright yellow-to-orange butterfly very similar to the Clouded Sulphur but featuring a warm orange flush on the upper wing surfaces.
**Size:** Wingspan of 1.6 to 2.3 inches.
**Habits:** One of the last butterflies seen before winter, often active into late October.
**Identification:** In flight, they appear much darker and "warmer" than lemon-yellow species.
**Habitat:** Meadows, open fields, and forest clearings.
