Species Description

**Description:** A large, elegant sphinx moth with olive-green wing patterns and distinct pinkish-orange spots on the hindwings.
**Size & Weight:** Wingspan 3–4.5 inches.
**Sexual Dimorphism:** Males have broader, more feathery antennae than females.
**Conservation:** Common; dependent on healthy deciduous forests.
**Habitat:** Found near forest edges where its host plants, Wild Grape and Virginia Creeper, are abundant.
**Behavior:** Strong, hovering fliers that drink nectar from deep flowers at dusk.
