**Description:** A rare, delicate grass found in high-elevation wetlands; a "glacial relict" surviving since the last Ice Age.
**Size:** Typically 1 to 2 feet tall.
**Conservation:** Rare / Species of Concern. Highly sensitive to changes in water levels and competition from invasive plants.
**Identification:** Features slender stems and delicate, airy seed heads. Often found growing alongside Sphagnum moss and Sundews.
**Habitat:** Specialized peat bogs and high-altitude marshes of the plateau.
