Species Description

**Description:** A bright yellow butterfly with a distinct pink fringe along the wing edges.
**Size:** Wingspan of 1.5 to 1.75 inches.
**Life Cycle:** Rare / Species of Concern. A high-elevation specialist whose caterpillars feed exclusively on Wild Blueberry leaves.
**Identification:** On the wing underside, they feature a single silver spot circled in pink.
**Habitat:** Restricted to mountain blueberry bogs and rocky ridges of the high plateau.
