Species Description
**Description:** Tiny arachnids that look like miniature scorpions but lack a tail and stinger. They have relatively large, pincer-like pedipalps.
**Size:** Extremely small (0.1 to 0.3 inches).
**Behavior:** Essential predators of soil mites and springtails. They often "hitchhike" by grabbing onto the legs of flies or beetles to reach new habitats.
**Identification:** Despite their appearance, they are completely harmless to humans and are beneficial "pest control."
**Habitat:** Hidden in leaf litter, under loose bark, and in moss.
