**Description:** One of the most colorful moths in the region, featuring bright pink and creamy yellow bands; often described as "flying candy."
**Size:** Wingspan of 1.25 to 2 inches.
**Sexual Dimorphism:** Males have more feathery antennae than females.
**Life Cycle:** Caterpillars, known as Green-striped Mapleworms, feed primarily on the leaves of Maple and Oak trees.
**Behavior:** Strictly nocturnal and docile. They are frequent visitors to outdoor lights near campgrounds in mid-summer.
**Habitat:** Common in deciduous forests where Maples are present.
