**Description:** A bizarre-looking caterpillar featuring a bright green "blanket" and a dark brown "saddle" marking on its back.
**Size:** Caterpillars reach 1 inch; adult moths have a 1.5-inch wingspan.
**Caution: Do Not Touch.** Covered in toxic stinging spines that inject venom, causing a painful, burning rash that can last for days.
**Life Cycle:** Larvae feed on a wide variety of hardwoods, including Oak, Cherry, and Maple.
