Species Description

**Description:** A pale green, delicate-looking cricket known for rhythmic chirping that changes speed with the temperature.
**Size:** 0.5 to 0.7 inches long.
**Behavior:** Called the "Thermometer Bug"; temperature can be estimated by counting chirps in 13 seconds and adding 40.
**Identification:** Slender, translucent green body with long antennae. They live primarily in trees and tall bushes.
**Habitat:** Canopy and shrub layer of deciduous forests.
