**Description:** A native deciduous shrub with large, round "lace-cap" clusters of white flowers.
**Size:** Typically 3 to 6 feet tall.
**Wildlife Value:** Flowers attract dozens of native bee and hoverfly species. The dense structure provides excellent nesting cover.
**Identification:** Features large, opposite, egg-shaped leaves with coarse teeth.
**Habitat:** Cool, moist north-facing slopes and rocky drainages.
