**Description:** A small, secretive songbird with a distinct olive-yellow wash and a bold, yellowish eye-ring.
**Size & Weight:** 5.1–5.9 inches long. Weighs roughly 0.3–0.5 oz.
**Sexual Dimorphism:** Monomorphic; males and females look identical.
**Conservation:** Rare / Species of Concern. A specialist of cool, wet northern forests; very sensitive to habitat loss.
**Habitat:** Restricted to high-elevation alder swales and swampy conifer thickets.
