**Description:** A small native catfish with white or yellow whiskers (barbels) and a rounded tail.
**Size & Weight:** 9–13 inches long. Weighs 0.5–1.5 lbs.
**Habitat:** Muddy bottoms of reservoir coves and slow river pools.
**Behavior:** Highly nocturnal and more tolerant of warm, slow water than other catfish.
