Species Description
**Description:** An abundant warbler of wet thickets; males feature a brilliant yellow throat and a bold black "Zorro" mask.
**Size & Weight:** 4.3–5.1 inches long. Weighs roughly 0.3 oz.
**Sexual Dimorphism:** Extreme. Males have the black mask; females are olive-brown with a duller yellow throat and no mask.
**Behavior:** Skulking nature, preferring to stay low in dense weeds. Known for the rhythmic "witchity-witchity-witchity" song.
**Habitat:** Wetland edges, beaver ponds, and shrubby margins of the reservoir.
